Bill Paton

Vice President, Loan Participations, Lending & Subordinated Debt

As the Vice President of Loan Participations, Lending and Subordinated Debt, Bill Paton is responsible for the overall performance of Alloya Corporate’s loan portfolio and related liquidity products. Bill oversees the sales and distribution of Alloya’s debt capital markets programs and has a keen focus on member service as well as the present and future health of the corporate’s balance sheet as related to its loans.
Bill received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.

Brian Hink

Brian is a Senior Director at Remedy Consulting specializing in contract negotiations, system selection and strategic planning for community banks and credit unions. Brian’s expertise is in fintech consulting, contract management and maximizing profitability through pricing for clients.

Prior to Remedy, he was Pricing Manager at Fiserv and has over 15 years of pricing and contract negotiation/management.

Brian has a BBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Charles McQueen

McQueen Financial Advisors, Inc.

McQueen Financial Advisors, Inc. was founded by Charley in 1999 to provide specialized investment and consulting services to financial institutions. Today, his company advises clients throughout the United States and manages investment portfolios with a combined value in excess of $12.5 billion.

With over 25 years of experience, Charley oversees McQueen Financial Advisors core services of Investment Portfolio Management, Asset/Liability Management, and Valuations & Advisory Services.

A frequent speaker at financial institution conferences, Charley has provided board of director’s education and training on a variety of topics. Additionally, he regularly provides training for bank and credit union examiners and certified public accountants.
Charley is a graduate of Western Michigan University, with a BBA in Management.

Charlie Kelly 


Remedy Consulting

Charlie is a Partner at Remedy Consulting and advises Banks and Credit Unions on Systems Selections and Contract Negotiation, Vendor Management, Mergers and Acquisitions and Technology Strategy. He hosts a thought leadership podcast for bank executives called BankTalk.

Prior to Remedy, he served as the Vice President of Product, Pricing, and Contracts at Fiserv, where he was responsible for negotiating client contracts setting product and pricing strategy. Charlie also has over 10 years of experience managing operational teams in banking and mortgage.

Charlie has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, and an MBA from Marquette University. He serves as a regular speaker at Bank and Credit Union industry events and is a published author in trade publications. Charlie serves on a local credit union board of directors and participates in community development as a leader on the church parish council.

Jay Budzik

Chief Technology Officer

Zest AI

Jay Budzik is the chief technology officer at Zest AI, a software company that helps banks and lenders build, run, and monitor fully explainable machine learning underwriting models. As CTO, Jay oversees Zest’s product and engineering teams. His passion for inventing new technologies—particularly in data mining and AI—has played a central role throughout his career. Before joining Zest, he held varied positions, including founding an AI enterprise search company, helping major media organizations apply AI and machine learning to expand their audiences and revenue, and developed systems that process tens of trillions of data points. Jay has a Ph.D. in computer science from Northwestern University

Joyce Marsh

Joyce joined HR Performance Solutions in 2011 bringing over 25 years of experience in human resource management, at both the strategic and functional levels. In previous roles, she was responsible for human resource functions supporting domestically and internationally dispersed locations in a variety of settings: aerospace, health services, employer services, financial institutions, oil and gas, and media.

Lisa has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate credit unions. She has worked in many capacities, including Director of Operations, Vice President of Item Processing, and Senior Consultant. Ms. Coffey was President of Lisa Coffey, LLC, which contracted operation efficiencies to Volunteer Corporate Credit Union and PCSI, as well as providing sales support and product implementation support to Corporate America from 2009 to 2011. Lisa is an art and music enthusiast and has been known to skew the demographic at rock concerts.

Since then Mark has been working with credit unions to operate more effectively on identity verification, multi-factor authentication, data analytics and digital communications.

Nancy Wu

Nancy Wu leads sales and customer success for SkyStem in the United States. She has spent most of her career working with accounting professionals to streamline the close process, set up shared services centers, and has consulted for a number of years in business process improvement and technology implementation. She is the host of SkyStem’s award-winning CPE webinar series and is also a contributor for CFO.University. In 2020, she authored “From Week to Days: Boarding the Mid-Market Financial Close Bullet Train” in partnership with IQPC.

Scott McArthur is the Chief Revenue Officer at Statflo, leading the company’s Sales, Partnerships and Customer divisions. With over 15 years of experience across consumer retail and technology sectors, Scott’s focus has always been to improve the customer experience through profitable interactions. Prior to joining Statflo, he managed Sales and Marketing teams at Telus, one of Canada’s largest Telecommunications companies, responsible for bringing innovative solutions to the frontline teams in the SMB and Consumer segments. During his career, he has built high performing teams and developed programs that drive engagement and revenue growth.

Thomas Shields

VP, Product Enablement


Thomas Shields, VP of Marketing Enablement at Kasasa®, is responsible for Connect®, a marketing automation platform designed exclusively for community financial institutions (CFIs). He brings 18 years of experience working within and serving other community financial institutions in operations, technology, marketing, and analytics. In his former role as Vice President of Marketing Program Delivery, he oversaw the end-to-end delivery of Kasasa marketing program delivery as well as FIRSTBranch® — a tailored banking website creation and success program for Kasasa CFIs. Thomas graduated cum laude from Southwestern University with a BS in Environmental Studies. He is also a Certified ScrumMaster, a Certified Product Owner, and holds a Process Management Certification from the University of Texas.


Tobias Timm

Director – Investments

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. 

Tobias has over 25 years of experience, having served credit unions of all sizes since 1989. Tobias has experience in strategic portfolio analysis, customized recommendations, and trade execution. He provides bond accounting as well as customized educational sessions, and works with credit unions with assets ranging from $20 million to $8 billion

Tobias received a Bachelor of Arts from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University. Attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where his program focused on performance measurement, designing investment policies, and structuring investment portfolios.

When he’s not serving clients, he can be found on the Pickelball courts or cycling along tree covered roads. He lives in East Lansing, Ml with his wife of 34 years. They have three adult children.

Toni Molinari

Senior Product Manager


Toni Molinari, CPA, CIA is a Senior Product Manager for nCino’s Portfolio Analytics Solution, specifically overseeing the CECL/ALLL module. Her background is in accounting and auditing having worked previously as a bank examiner with the Office of Thrift Supervision and as an auditor with a community bank and a boutique auditing firm focused on financial institutions. Toni also previously served as a professor of accounting at Clark University teaching financial accounting and reporting, financial and operational audit, and internal audit. She has served as a member of the AICPA’s Exam Committee for the BEC section of the CPA exam and a member of the MSCPA Accounting and Auditing Committee responding to proposed accounting standards to further the development of GAAP. Toni is a certified public accountant, a certified internal auditor, holds a B.A. in Economics, and an MBA. Toni is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier School of Banking and Wharton Leadership program.
