If you would have asked me 34 years ago upon initiating my career that I would create a disruptive technology that is transforming retail banking I would have asked, “What is disruptive technology?” Thus my career from Advertising Executive, Branch Designer to Technology Pioneer has been a fun evolutionary journey mired in learning, creativity and technology innovation. It has been far more enjoyable and rewarding than words can express.

Joshua Schneiderman

SEM/PPC Program Lead

VGM Forbin

I have spent nearly 20 years in the marketing industry designing, writing, strategizing and selling. For 5 years, I have been focused on Search Engine Marketing, most recently leading the SEM program at VGM Forbin. Those two decades have taught me that I hate advertising. I hate being sold, hate TV ads yelling buy this – not that. I hate 30 second pre-roll spots. 60 second spots? I hate them twice as much. I hate social campaigns with no substance. I hate “going viral.” I hate that people approach agencies looking for all of the above because I love people, and I love helping them genuinely improve their lives. Love when people feel good about their choices. I love when things work the way they’re supposed to. I love when the right information is simple to find. I love content that communicates well and media that delivers it perfectly. I love problem-solvers, risk-takers, fighters and underdogs. I love honesty, authenticity, fairness and respect. I love helping financial institutions communicate what makes them great. I love that a marketing agency like VGM Forbin can be a force for good. I love what we do.
