An MBA graduate from the Wharton School and an engineer by training from BITS Pilani, Ashish spent his early career in high-tech, as a Product Manager working closely with customers from around the world. That is when the idea of Eltropy was born.

Trish began her carrier as a branch manager in Wilmington, Delaware and moved over to roles including VP of Treasury Services, EVP of Operations and Treasury Management, and an SVP Operations at First Charter Bank. She is a graduate of the University of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Jeffrey Johnson

Jeff is currently a senior analyst and vice president of research & development at Mark H. Smith Incorporated. Jeff joined MHSI in 2010 and has designed and built CECL, ALM, and deposit decay models. Jeff has also created an interactive peer analysis, deposit analytics, and loan analytics. His goal is to continue to bring affordable, simple to understand models and analytics to credit unions of all sizes.
Jeff received his master’s degree in finance from the University of Utah and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Utah State University. Jeff lives in Farmington, Utah with his wife and son.

Wallace Jones

Working from the CUSO’s Western division office in Plano Texas, he oversees training and business development for the CUSO. Wallace has over 30 years of experience in various roles as a loan officer, appraiser and construction lender and public speaker. His focus is to provide valuable training that will educate and assist your institution in achieving your desired goals with your mortgage program. His position also provides the perfect platform for sharing his extensive knowledge in both the mortgage industry and regulatory compliance arena as a public speaker.
Prior to joining Member First Mortgage, Wallace spent 21 years with CU Members Mortgage with the last 15 years serving as National Training Director. He was a regular speaker at industry conferences, league events and home buyer seminars. Wallace developed material and led training activities for all credit union partners, including program and product trainings, loan officer and compliance sessions. Wallace managed the rollout and maintenance of a mortgage application custom point of sales website for over 400 credit unions.

Susan Looney

Susan Looney has over 28 years of strategic human resources experience in the credit union industry. She has successfully worked with many different credit unions and assisted them in developing strategies to improve not only their human resources activities, but their culture, communication and the skills of their management teams.
Susan Looney was with Cornerstone Credit Union League/Credit Union Resources for over 22 years as the Sr. VP of CU Resources. In her last position at CU Resources, she managed over 45 employees and various lines of business including executive search, HR consulting, financial auditing, strategic planning and compliance consulting. She has served on a credit union board of directors for 5 years. Susan recently started her own HR consulting company, Insight HR Strategies.
Susan has a degree in Personnel Administration from the University of Kansas. She has her SPHR (senior profession in human resources) and SHRM-SCP (senior certified professional).

Taylor Nadauld, PhD
Chief Economist

Taylor is the Chief Economist for Visible Equity, an nCino company, where he heads industry research and analysis. Dr. Nadauld earned his doctorate degree in Finance from The Ohio State University and his undergraduate degree is in Economics. He has also published papers in the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies and Real Estate Economics. Taylor enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with family. He is a former All- American Rugby player and was named to the U.S. Men’s National Rugby Team in 2001.

Vikash Ramnanan

Vikash came to TraceSecurity through the Apprenti Louisiana program, which provided certified technical training in networking, information security, and ethical hacking. At TraceSecurity, he works on information security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing. Vikash has earned CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications, and holds a degree in Psychology from Angelo State University.

Eric Stearns

Eric grew up rural Northwest Ohio with his extended farming family and claims to have started in the family’s financial services business while learning the alphabet by filing client folders. Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics, Eric has been providing solutions to credit unions, healthcare institutions and non-profit clients for over 20 years. First licensed in the financial services industry in 1997 with Northwestern Mutual Life, then transitioning to a consulting career in hospital revenue cycle management and patient medical records, Eric has consistently delivered value added strategies to client organizations. Taking an opportunity to follow a passion, Eric became the president and general manager of a regional ski and snowboard resort and then earned an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy. Joining the family business in 2009 in an analyst role, 2012 in a representative role, and as president and CEO starting in 2018, Eric has successfully moved Stearns Financial Group into being a leader for custom retention and retirement solutions for high performing non-profit organizations. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from the University of Rochester and lives in Cincinnati, OH with his wife Portia and sons Elliott and Griffin.
