The CUaware Protégé Competition is an opportunity for credit unions to recognize the value and potential in rising professionals age 35 and under, reinforce cooperative principles and credit union philosophy, and support CUaware and the league’s investment in developing leadership.
What happened in 2020
Top finalists from North and South Carolina compete for the chance to be named this year’s CUaware Protégé. The finals and the results took place Friday, January 31, 2020 as the lead in for the Carolinas LAUNCH conference and trade show. The winner and two runners-up receive developmental scholarships sponsored by the Carolinas Credit Union League. Learn more about each finalist at carolinasleague.org/protege.
2020 Young Professional Workshop
10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Young professionals age 40 and under gathering with Mentees from the 2020 CUaware Protégé Mentor Program for a day of education and networking.
The Mentor Workshop
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
This event will share best practices, resources and tips with incoming Mentors in the CUaware Protégé Mentor Program. This workshop is mandatory for Mentors in the 2020 program as a condition of their participation.
3:15 pm – 4:00 pm
A quick networking event for people in the 2020 CUaware Protégé Mentor Program (only). This event will be the first opportunity for Mentors and Mentees to meet in-person and begin their partnership in the program.
